Meet the Masters: Day 10

From 10:00-11:00 am, Mihaela Mihut, actor and faculty member, gives unique insights into the emotional and psychological process actors use to prepare for their characters.

From 1:00-2:00 pm Paola Bernardini, director, will talk about her personal journey making films all over the world. Moderated by Joan Brooker-Marks.


Mihaela Mihut is an actor, coach, playwright and Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio (renowned for training Marlon Brando, Marylin Monroe, Al Pacino, Robert Di Niro and almost any famous actor you can think of). Mihaela teaches acting at SVA and internationally, recently in England, Estonia and Egypt.
Paola Bernardini is an independent director and producer, and an SVA alumna. Her thesis film, Cittá dei Sogni, won numerous awards and screened in over 20 film festivals worldwide. Her latest short film, Solitaire, is a thriller created solely with fellow alum Wayland Bell. 

Joan Brooker-Marks
was a television writer in Los Angeles, working on such shows as Designing Woman, McGyver, and Full House. Joan has also directed two award winning short documentaries, We Got Us and The Loud Ladies of South Fork, and the feature documentaries, Larry Flynt: The Right to be Left Alone and The Silent Truth.
