Ezequiel “Zeke” Cincunegui (BFA Animation 2020) coordinated “RythemJam” a collaborative anijam with other animators from SVA! Check it out below!

RhythmJam was born out of my desire to make something indulgent with friends. I believe it’s important for artists to treat some projects with much seriousness, and have projects that one can do just for fun.  It’s easy as animators to try and overachieve with every project since it already takes time to make any drawing move. So with RhythmJam, we let ourselves play with whatever we wanted to in our small sections to animate, trying to take it easy and have fun while doing it. Sometimes, for your projects to come out well you don’t need to kill yourself over every minute detail, just gather with some artist friends and see what you can come up with. I would personally love it if more anijams came out!

(And for anyone who doesn’t know an anijam is a  term for a collaborative animation produced by multiple artists.)
