FACULTY: Gina Abatemarco

Writer/Director/Producer

For me teaching is a great joy and an honor! I believe that it’s the responsibility of older artists to share their knowledge with the next generation. I also believe that as artists we share a community and no matter our age or where we are in the journey we have a lot to teach each other! I often learn as much about the world from my students as I share with them.

As a former film student myself, I try to teach my students what I had wished I had known earlier in my journey. I believe that everyone can be an artist and try to draw out each filmmakers individual voice in my classes.
